GH Handicrafts

History has not been kind to Sri Lanka. Its turbulent past has seen people struggle not only in the years of fighting, but also those of peace because a reliable income has proved difficult under the circumstances. Since 1977, GH Handicrafts has given people employment on a fair trade basis, producing quality wooden educational aids and recreational toys. Its mission is to raise the standard of living of employees, producers and their relevant communities in Sri Lanka, giving them training they may not have received otherwise as well as an opportunity to generate income. It also aims to add value to the country’s sustainable resources. By purchasing these products, you are helping improve the quality of life of these individuals in Sri Lanka.
